Silent hunter 3 commander?
 

When I played SH 3 years ago there was a nice utility for the game called "Silent Hunter Commander." It did a variety of things related to career length and the like.

Has anyone done the same for SH5?

No. The author of SH3 Commander didn't care about SH4 and certainly doesn't care about SH5. That's his right and his choice. When GWX4 was still in the works some of Commander's functions were in the planning for SH4, but that's history now as well.

A lot of the functions, such as setting the deck gun ROF, can be done manually from the Cfg files. There is no crew to give millions of randomized names to. It's my understanding that SH5 does give names to ships you sink. I'm looking into that to see if I can apply my Ship Names mod to SH5.

We'll see how it goes.
