I was robbed!!!
 

So I hit a convoy in SH5 and I launch 4 torpedoes. 1 misses and the other 3 hit 2 ships. One is sunk with two hits and the second is on fire limping along. Just a matter of time before she is history. I would finish her off but Destroyers are on the prowl thanks to my handy work. Suddenly I have to leave to run an errand so I save the game, quit and leave for a few hours. I come back home anxious to pick up where I left off, loaded the saved game and low and behold…the ship is no longer on fire…in fact it is back to normal!! And to add insult, my torpedoes are still spent. So basically I lost the torpedoes and the ship and still am being hunted by the destroyers….I lost a Liberty ship credit……..

What is up with that?...../cry :wah:

That's been a known bug, always let the ships finish sinking (finish them off if possible) before saving. Normally I try not to have my last save point when ships are around unless I just have to.

Good advice. I have saved and come back to convoys that had now disappeared...

i hope my taskforce is still there once iv sorted out the tdc mod. thanks for sharing what happened. i had no idea about this bug. i dont think ubisoft really gave a dam when they made this game. it could of been epic
