Deck Guns and Aircraft

Does anyone know if deck guns will engage aircraft, or is it only AA guns?

frau kaleun 11-30-11 05:38 PM

Well, since you can't order the crew at the flak guns to shoot at a ship, but can take control of them manually to do so, I would say the same might go for the deck gun... meaning, you couldn't get the crew to shoot at a plane with one, but you could man it yourself and aim at any target you chose.

Altho I'm betting your chances of actually hitting a plane with a deck gun are slim and none. They're hard enough to get a bead on with the flak guns.

:hijacked: Is it worth attacking airships with any/all available armament?
Those things were supposed to be filled with hydrogen during ww2.

That goes for half the things he says! :) :P

And I thought they got rid of hydrogen after the hindenberg accident. I would hope even the densest designers would think that filling a very large bag with a very explosive gas would be bad in wartime.
