No suprises there then.

Gerald 11-29-11 01:39 PM

True .... an appeal is probably to be expected.

Jimbuna 11-29-11 04:05 PM

No doubt.

Dunno on what grounds, the trial seemed pretty uncontested.

Jimbuna 11-29-11 07:10 PM

I thought he lost it when he refused to take the stand.

Platapus 11-29-11 07:24 PM

Even if he does not serve any actual jail time, I think the punishment is fitting.

1. Felony conviction on his record
2. Loss of medical license and since he does not have a history of medical research doubtful he could even get a lab job.
3. Going to have the snot sued out of him by practically everyone for the next 100 years

His life will be a bit on the crappy side. My only concern is that I want safeguards in place to prevent him from making any profit from this case. :yep:

I believe he is not even a citizen. He'll go back to whatever island country he is from and pick up his practice there. Along with a lot of bank. The wrongful death suit will be long and drawn out, probably end up in appeals and by that time no one will care anymore.

Jimbuna 11-30-11 05:24 AM

Any idea where he was from?

1480 11-30-11 10:49 AM

Grenada.

Platapus 11-30-11 05:35 PM

I believe he is a citizen of Tobago.

Jimbuna 11-30-11 06:10 PM

Found him 'St. Andrews, Grenada' :salute:

Good source but you did not read far down enough :O:

At the age of seven, Murray relocated to Trinidad and Tobago to live with his mother, where he became a citizen...

LOL :DL

I was genuinely interested where he hailed from when I read he wasn't a US citizen (as I had presumed) :DL
