A very sad day for me

I'm a BIG cat lover, Since I was a little boy I always had one or two cats

About 6-7 month ago I had to put one of my dearest cat to rest for ever, due to a kidney problem. I've had her for more than 12 year

Today, I lost, my other cat. She was hit by a car. I've had her for almost 7 years

I will always remenber them and the others I've had until now.

I am sorry. It is always hard to lose a family member. You will be in my thoughts.

Thank you

Some say, it's a cat so what or it's an animal, but for me they were more than that, they were my family.

I'm no cat fan, but I know that any pet becomes a member of the family and the loss is similar. My thoughts are with you - take care.

My sympathies....our family pet is beginning to go downhill too.

We take in cats and dogs because we crave companionship and they give it. They also need companionship and get it from us, so in that respect they are family, or at the very least friends like any other friends. They make a place for themselves in our lives and when one is gone it affects us deeply.

A friend is gone, and you have nothing to be ashamed of in mourning that loss.

The little buggers have a nasty habit of becoming part of the family.

Sincere condolences for your loss.

Sorry to hear that mate, I have lost quite a few over the past 35 years or so, amazing how you get attached to them without realising it! Hope you get over it soon, one good thing to remember though "Kittens are so cute"!:yep:
Cheers.

Very sad :( My brother lost his cat just last week aswell. I'm not much of a cat person myself, but I remember how I felt when I heard the family dog had gone missing - thankfully he was rescued.

So sorry for your loss, Markus.

There are no words to express the sadness of the passing of an old friend, particularly in such circumstances, however one day you will meet her again, so stay strong and remember the good times and the love, and she'll be waiting for you when the time comes.

I'd post the whole Rainbow bridge poem...but then I'd wind up in tears too...

Thank you very much for all your kindly condolences

Animal have a very special place in my heart, espacally cats do.

What makes me very sad, is that she have tried to reach home, after she was hit, but she must have been to injured and she may have collapsed about 50 metres from my home. It was my sister that knocket on my door, telling me that my cat was laying on the ground, dead, so I do not know for how long she has been laying there and that makes me so sad.

I feel for you. Always deeply depressing to lose a long-time pet.

We had a family cat that we got when I was still in the 6th grade and it died after I had graduated college and was in my first professional job. At the time it came as a profound shock to find out this feline link with childhood was suddenly and finally gone.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am very sorry for your loss. When you feel like it, check out Petloss.com. It is a very nice site which has helped me in the past.
