SH4 U-Boat Missions upgrade problem
 

G'day all,

Just a heads up.

I have a purchased copy, including receipts, of SH4 and a purchased copy of the U-Boat Mission upgrade; I've found my copy of SH4 will no longer run with the U-boats mission upgrade due to my U-Boat Missions ugrade serial number being blacked listed by UBISOFT.

I've contacted UBISOFT for resolution, but have no word yet. While there is a "work around" I would prefer to get this rectified correctly and quickly.

The best solution I know of is to buy the Gold edition, which is already upgraded. I know that comes too late for you, but for others considering buying it...

I agree with Steve %100! I had SH4 on disc, and purchased the 1.5 upgrade as a D/L. Everything was fine, as I didn't need to reinstall or anything like that. When I purchased my new pc, I didn't even think about it. I ordered the Gold edition and eliminated all possible headaches. I didn't want to deal with exactly what you're going through. If you have the means, get the Gold! Simple as that.

While I really did not expect much help from Ubisoft, I did get an email from they today informing me my serial number would now work and to re-contact them again if problems persisted.

I'll have to uninstall and reinstall to see if this actually works as suggested.
