Please can you help me?
Hi everyone,
On SH3 I wanted to create my own mission. I know how to do this, however, I want a sub with a great flack gun, which should I choose? And also, what bullets should I use for aeroplanes? I'm guessing AA but maybe Armour piercing bullets. :06: Thanks. :) PS, I just signed up for the forum, and I'd like to make a suggestion. Maybe less hard security questions- I don't know much about subs, and I got the security question. I had to spend a while researching it. :damn: |

WELCOME ABOARD! :sunny:
All of the shells for the flak guns are good, as far as I know. As for making them more powerful, I'm sure it can be done but I'm not sure how. Somebody will be along who knows. I go with the historical answer, though. For me the best anti-aircraft weapon is deep water; I dive and stay there until the evil sub-killing monster is gone. About the security questions: Every time we relax it even a little bit we get swamped - and I mean overwhelmed - with spambots, as well as human spammers. The site owner has done his best to limit those, and the price is that you really have to want to join these forums to get in. |
Thank you,Steve for the help :yep:

I'd go for a Type VIIC in 44, you'll end up with something like U-621 'U-Flak' in the picture below. Everything Steve has posted is true but as for enhancing the damage shells cause you would be wise to use S3Editor. Be advised....any changes to a shell calibre for example 20mm will mean the shell has the same destructive force by whichever side is so equipped. The game engine will not allow you to pick one side only. http://img198.imageshack.us/img198/447/u621uflacka.jpg |
