Sheep are a bit scarce in the tropics, but you might be able to find cane toads or crocodiles.:O:

BTW to the OP Darwin is nowhere near desert, its climate is decidedly tropical. It does get low rainfall in the dry season byt the wet is extremely wet with will over 1000mm falling in a month at the peak.

Have you ever been to the Northern Territory? I have and I really don't know what they speak there, but it definitely wasn't English. (for some strange reason they could understand me though when I spoke English...:hmm2:)

Never been personally but I have many family over there and they inform me similarly.
