SH III GWX launch problem

When I launch the game, it opens in a tall narrow screen, cutting off the top and left side. I have tried changing the resolution on my monitor with no luck. Have any of you seen this and if so, what is the fix?

Thanks

Have you tried adjusting the screens viewable area with the monitors positioning buttons?

Most monitors also have an 'auto adjust' feature which centers and maximizes the display. I'd take a look through the menu and see what you've got to work with.

Oh and welcome aboard! :sunny:

Sounds like the drivers are setting up the wrong resolution. Are you getting the game in a window on the desktop? Or does it do this full-screen, or atleast tries to do. If possible try to make a screendump of it. OS and Videocards/GPU details and driver version would be nice to have.

Thanks guys. A shutdown and reboot plus the auto adjust solved the problem. All is good in the world. Now all I have to do is relearn what I have forgotten the past two or three years.
Thanks again. It is good to be back.
