DC Graphics: Using the Hi-Res graphics

OK DC alumni!! HELP!! lol

I remember from back in the day there was a option to use hi-res ship graphics that are in the "1024" folder. What I don't remember is how to use them. If it was something that had to be edited in the ".ini" file I think, or something else. If any of my brudda DC plankowners remember, I am gratefull and as a token of my appreciation, ya'll be getting an early Xmas gift in the mail!!
:Kaleun_Salivating:

So,you've dusted off the DC disc and now it's time to air out the bridge to get rid of the smell of mothballs, before you set sail, ehh? Although, if your feeding your crew the Holiday Special "Rajun Cajun'" Crunchy Egg Salad, the smell of mothballs on the bridge would be the least of your problems. :yep:

I think I tried out the Hi-Poly models once.I wasn't impressed and decided on the HighLOD graphic mods instead.

As the previous poster mentioned, I seem to recall that there is something in the DC Readme file that talks about how to use the Hi-Poly models. It has been a few years since I last read it and unfortunately I cannot remember any details beyond that.

If we had some targets to hunt, CC. I'd seriously consider reinstalling DC again, for old times sake.

:salute:

Male! Captain Cruise! How did I miss this thread before?

Somebody who's been around longer than I have! And who I remember.

On the other hand, I don't remember how to do any of that stuff. It's been years since I've even looked at DC. Still, it's good to see you both around. :sunny:

On the other other hand, I would seriously reconsider reinstalling both, just for some escort/sub action! :yep: :D

WOW, One mention of egg salad and look who comes out for the feast..:Kaleun_Salivating: Glad to see some old friends still alive.
