Once upon a time a man called Hugo Chavez came to power. He was very anti-U.S. and became a thorn in it's side. Especially since inviting another vocal thorn Iran into it's part of the world.

I was thinking that maybe somebody called Putin for advice on how to quietly get rid of problems. Maybe someone slipped a radioactive mickey in old Hugo's drink.

Why would Putin do it when your certain someone is more capible of doing it themselves.

You're right it probably isn't the first time nor will it be the last, but you'll get no complaint from me. I can imagine what those in the line of succession are thinking right about now. Bet we'll see some policy changes and a more friendly leader down that way. Someone who will tell Iran, we're sorry but you're visa has expired and it will not be renewed buh bye. I'd be more inclined to think some evil, multi-national oil conglomerate did it when Chavez nationalized the oil industry and seized all foreign assets.

Besides, "the farm" wouldn't need assassination advice from Putin.
