REALISTIC TORPEDO COLORS MOD FOR GWX 3.0

This replaces the torpedo colors, making them look more like the actual torpedo colors and not the brightly colored eels of GWX. This affects the torpedo skins and loadout menu. As the Kaluen, you must pay attention to what you are loading into your tubes - the only distinguishable trait in the menu between electric and wet heater torpedoes are different looking fins, and all of the warheads look the same!

TO INSTALL:
Place in your MODS folder and activate via JSGME.

Till now I used to think that Torpedo_HAHD_1024_GWX has the realistic torp skin set up, now you come with this telling it is realistic ? :doh:

I'm basing the texture off of this G7a, and as far as I can tell, there were few if any color differences between torpedoes.

i think that Hans in ''Torpedo_HAHD_1024'' mod create historically accurate 3d models for torpedoes . his torpedo mod is more about the correct 3d work on torps and no so much as for the skins but better ask Hans about it as he is the author of the mod .

Torpedo HAHD has corrected 3d models and also skin to reflect historical accuracy.

My mod was based on real account from engineer who work in torpedo manufacture and i had access to old photo not available publicly.

Depending on resources availability as the war was going on some alloy become hard to have so they replace it with different alloy that have less or more shiny metal casing sometime you could find 2 differents alloy on 1 single torpedo.

My G7A and G7E use the most commonly used color scheme.

They also use brass a lot on different part like warhead and fin and rudder,propeller.

Secret torpedo intelligence :o I'm looking at your mod, as I am curious to see how close my "realistic" torpedo colors came... I was going to choose either the steel or brass warhead and in the end I chose steel.
