I do also recommend SH3 Commander! If you want to try it, download it at: http://www.silenthuntermods.com/foru...hp?topic=103.0
Be sure to download the cfg files for sh3 commander so you can run it with GWX3. (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...=file&id=1421):salute: |

Hi Fubar
Thanks, but I am pointing the browser at the SH3 folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\silent hunter 3\SH3 and am still getting the disc request. Is this the right pathway? I'm going to reinstall the game on steam so I have a completely clean install. |

Ive got the exe and bins in a single folder on my hard drive. Am I supposed to seperate the .exe from the .bins then?
Sorry if im being a bit thick |
@UKsub
No the way you have them is correct, in a single folder. Look in that folder and click the .exe. This should launch GWX 3 installer, you can then point to the correct sh3 path. What you posted before looks good to me, tho that is a little guesswork. My version of sh3 isn't steam. Best regards. Fubar2Niner |
Hallelujah, it worked, I must have done something in the past install.
Thanks for your help guys. |

When I was reinnstalling SH3 on my computer, I was getting that 'disk' error message. How did I solve it? I renamed the bin files!:yeah: PS: Good hunting Uksub!:up:
