Tragedy? (Tsunami - Japan)
 

This is a video taken from a car caught in the tsunami. As I don't understand japanese I am not sure of what happened to the driver in the end (hope he made it out in one piece).

Watching, I was going to post a comment about how the car's battery hung in there for the duration of the video.

Then I got to the end.

Chilling, to say the least.

I would have abandoned the vehicle ages ago! pretty horrifying to go through, and yes I hope he made it out ok, but looking at the end I would doubt it!:hmmm::cry:

Has to be seen to be believed :o

And still most of us will not believe just how powerful 18" of water can be!

The truck and 40' trailer whizzing through the junction shocked me! :o

It needs cochones to keep the camera that cool all the time :o

....I really hope that that car was empty and the camera was just well secured on the dashboard...

Watching that video makes one realize how insignificant humans are compared to what nature can unleash.
