A question for all

So, I have a question for everyone. Basically, I've always just installed my mods directly into the data folder of Silent Hunter 5. Recently though, I installed a special abilities mod (( Modded by myself )) and I use MO with the more crew mod as well. I installed these both directly without any kind of mod program, of course I was smart enough to back up by data folder in case that needed to be done. But just a moment ago, as I was pulling out of port I crashed to desktop, I always have problems with this, and yes I started a new campaign after putting all my mods in, twice actually. Will it actually make a difference if a modding program is used?

A "mod program" does the same thing that you're doing except it automates the process, and gives you the ability to easily disable the mods.

if you activate the mods one at a time, maybe you could narrow down the source of the crash to desktop?

Also, you should go to the following thread and list your mods. People will help you troubleshoot it.

I've sent messages to the creators of the mods that I have in question. Thanks for your help, I'll take a look at that trouble shooting thread as well. Thanks again man!
