Officer quarter for SH5?

Hi guys, just wondering if somebody could be interested in modeling the Officer Quarter for type VII.Its obvious that is missing, and I think is a must to complete the 3D submarines.

Regards.

I agree

By no means am I an expert, but I thought the officers quarters fold out/in when not in use. IE, the captains bunk has a table that folds out for dinner time. At least thats how it was on our sailboat, on one of the beds the center flipped over and had a post to place a table on, seating 4. I figure space being at a premium, lots of this type of stuff went on in a u-boat.

Very real interor. Is it possible to have similar in SH5 ?

The simple answer is Yes.
;)

It would take a bit of work but it can be adjusted in such a way that
you could click on things and fold them out.
Or maybe a time or positional control could do it.
I'm sure of editing the files involved however one would wish to do it.

i already offered, to create an officers quarter. but i didnt know it is possible so far to have it ingame...

:o

so is it? and what kind of file is needed, obj file? i always encounter problems by texturing the 3d files and export it as an obj. maybe this is just the smaller problem. but i dont know the specifications of the 3d data, if there should be some interaction with objects possible.

anyone?

hello,

The video ff sub interior is really beautiful!I've seen in it manay and many foods in the sub,is it possible in sh5?

thanks for answers.:03:

The interior in the vid was my own lil interiors mod for sh3, the officers mess section is not entirely accurate since it has an L shaped seat rather than what in reality would have been a bunk and a folding seat at the side. The fixed table too was a bit of fiction (taken straight form Das Boot), in reality it would have been a folding table.

Overall i think sh5s officers quarters is reasonably accurate, you just have to imagine that in game its all folded away and set up for sleeping and not lunch!

It could be done. But this has been requested so many times (by myself as well) and many have claimed it will happen , But i,ve never seen it happening in sh-5 so far!

Actually if you closely study the scenes in Das Boot you van see it not a table either , its a folding table folded out which makes it look like its a fixed table but it aint
