Change of seasons flu
 

Anyone get this, every year for the last 5-6 years during the changing of Autumn and Spring I get the flu - running blocked nose, aching body feeling all weak, can't sleep sore throat and feeling cold. Lasts about 3 days then i'm right, went into work last night where I was freezing - got sent home. I thinking this ain't a flu but like a hay fever as I only get it during the season change, I don't know I should go to the doctors but instead I just take some panadol and sweat it out.

I've occasionally gotten this type of illness just as the season turns and the weather gets better. Always stuck me as ironic to get sick after getting through winter. The flu shot I got last spring seemed to keep it from cropping up again this year.

In the last few years I seem to be getting flu more often and they seem to persist for up to 3 months, just when you think you are over it back it comes, not nice!:nope: There seems to be too many variations around now!!:damn:

Those aren't flu symptoms. Flu symptoms are Vomiting, Diarrhea, weakness. You guys are describing Cold symptoms. And because you are getting them at regular interval during seasonal changes, it's most likely a seasonal allergy. It could be a cold, but it sounds more like allergies. It doesn't have to be a pollen from plants, it could be something as simple as a seasonal mold spore release, or dog dander from shedding with the weather change.

Many Colds are passed on continually by shareing something that can get you arrested!

I haven't had a cold in YEARS now!
Nor the Flu or other common pass along icky sicknesses.

Could be right, there's plenty of fruit trees on my property close to the main door as well and my neighbor has 4 bloody cats if its an animal thing that's setting it off.

I just had a sneezing fit lasted a good 5min a tradesman working outside asked if he could use my power point in the garage for his saw I couldn't answer him straight away as I was continuously sneezing! So I just waved my arms and nodded a yes. :rotfl2: Going to have a cup of hot lemon juice :rock:

Just had that about a month ago. It's quite nasty. Hate the sore throat. I got that kind of flu/cold maybe once every 2 year or once every year. 3 days of recovering is fast. It usually took me a week or longer to be strong again. Last time it was with coughing too.
