So, I'm going to get straight to it. Basically, I've been asked to sink 150,000 tons of ship using wolf packs. Which I've found a wolf pack, however all of them have been completely ignoring all warship contacts, none of them follow me if I go to engage any kind of convoy. It's almost like they're useless. But I still have to complete that portion of the mission in order to advance. I'm going to continue trying to work with it maybe they'll decide to engage here soon or something. Anyone got any pointers or stuff that I'm suppose to do? I'm getting tired of aimlessley hunting the Pacific Ocean.

To be specific the mission that I'm aiming for is Triumph of the wolfpack

When you find a British Isle bound convoy, the first time you have to do is make sure it's a HX convoy, a normal (not troop transport), fast (running at 9-13 knot), convoy, usually without small merchant vessel.

When you are sure that it is a HX convoy, make a contact report. Stay outside of the escort contact, especially their visual contact, but still make the visual contact with the convoy. After you make three contact report for the same convoy, attack the convoy ALONE. It will make you surely have a 20000-35000 tons kill per convoy for this task.

Don't hope the wolfpack assist if you have the stock (not modified) AI, because as U have known, the stock AI are bloke enough to make you insane.

I suggest you to save before making the first contact report (as soon as you make the first contact), not before you attack the convoy at first time

Thanks for this I had read up on it and I started to shadow the convoys but would only make one contact report so that's probably another issue there there, I'm gonna try and put it more then one maybe it bumps up their priorities or something. I hate getting massive amounts of tonnage but it not meaning anything towards the progress of my campaign.

Shadow the HX convoy and make at least 3 (THREE) contact report for the designated convoy, after that, your attack towards the convoy are counted in the triumph of the wolfpack...
