Question about FM_NewInterior working with MaGui F

Ive got GWX gold installed and I am trying to get the following mods to work.

FM_NewInterior_v1.0
MaGui F
Widescreen_MaGui v3.4
TorpedoSolutionButton for MaGUI

I keep getting either desktop crashes or screwy graphic. Can't seem to find a proper solution to the order. only mods I'm using are the following. I am just looking for an order that works. THanks mucho for any help. I've been up all night trying to get just a few mods working and no joy...

I've tried every combo possible but either get crashes to DT or wacky cropping effects.

Is there anyway to get these mods to work together?!!

First off, welcome aboard! :sunny:

Second, are you getting any CTD's during load or are they mostly after the game is running? If mostly after, have you enabled the FM fix that comes with the MaGui mod? (Should be applied after FM_Interiors and MaGui).

Hi there and welcome.

As mentioned above, It looks like you are missing one of MaGui's compatibility mods

Look carefully through the MaGui package. I don't know about MaGui F, but in MaGui 3.4 - which is what I use - there is an optional mod called FM-NI_Fix (or something very similar).

Install order should be...

FM_NewInterior_v1.0
MaGui
TorpedoSolutionButton for MaGUI
FM-NI_Fix

Check to see if everything is working OK and then install the widescreen mod. I can't advise on the widescreen mod as I do not use it.

BTW, you don't need the TorpedoSolutionButton mod. If you enable Weapon Officer assistance in options, you'll get an icon for identifying ships and another one to calculate a firing solution in the Weapons Officer menu. In general, the fewer mods you can get away with, the better - stability wise.

hi BMN_Avenger,

in the Widescreen MaGui v3.4's .rar you will find a 'read me' note which explains exactly the mods and the proper order for a correct installation.
the note is called ''Installation''....just read it and follow it .

hi Capt. Morgan,

the above is not correct , user need to install the ''TorpedoSolutionButton'' if we wants to have the solution button availiable on WE's orders .

all are explained at the 'read me' notes.

bye
