REALLY! Greenhouse gasses is what tips them off? Are their not planets naturally abundant with greenhouse gasses? I'm guessing the massive neutron bursts in space over our planet were not the first tip off we mean business? ""Green" aliens might object to the environmental damage humans have caused on Earth and wipe us out to save the planet." And just how will they wipe us out without harming the planet? We'll nuke their little gray asses the moment they land (See: Footfall)! See how they like the environmental damage from THAT! |

Seems to me that a race of aliens that might possess the ability to roam and exploit the riches of our massive galaxy at will, aren't going to be too worried about resource depletion on some pip squeak planet in a solar system on the outer spiral arm. It'd be roughly akin to the crew of some modern supertanker bothering to notice in passing that some primitive tribe was deforesting their worthless little atoll. Would the executives who run the mega oil conglomerate the crew works for care more? The government officials over them? The stunning scale of the galactic civilization these aliens could be living in makes us pretty insignificant.

Why would Aliens bother with us? They've been watching us blow each other up for centuries. It makes for some amusing viewing by their Hubble telescopes, which are 10, 000 times better than ours, zoom factor infinite.
