The evil zionist warmongers strike again

The fascist state of Israel strikes again!

When several peaceful activists wanted to greet a bus full of their Israeli comrades by firing shots out of joy, the party-poopers of the Israeli Attack Forces came to end the party.

The fighters for peace tried to calm down the aggressors by using fireworks to calm down the forces, but it didn't help to stop the fascists, even a salute rocket did not bring laughter to the Israeli haters.

After this, the zionazis brought even 2 helicopters to overtone the Kumbaya-singing of the flower-eating peaceniks and the activists decided to call off their Woodstock in the desert.

It's shocking, what the Israeli propaganda makes out of this story:

Quote:

Six killed in series of terrorist attacks in southern Israel
Several killed, dozens wounded after armed gunmen fired on bus traveling near Eilat, close to Egypt border; IDF and trades fire with gunmen; mortars are fired from Egyptian border; IDF kills several terrorists.

act of terrorism, terrorism, terrorist act - - the calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature;

Calling those attackers terrorists seems legitimate.

Just to clarify, it is legitimate to call attackers such as these dirt bags terrorists. I have no problems either with any nation taking them out on the street and putting a bullet in their head when caught with their hands in the cookie jar.

My apologies if my earlier comment appeared to the contrary. I was simply amused by your satirical wit. :)

Just what the area needs....more senseless violence and killing :nope:

No, need to apologize, I got your comment right. :salute:
My definition was directed at mookie's post, as he seems to imply that Haaretz' choice of words would be judgemental.
When somebody attacks a bus of civilians, one would call the attacker a criminal, when they have an ideological background it is not a bias to call them terrorists.

My half-arsed attempt of a satire was directed at people who try to legitimate those attacks with the most absurd justifications. People who claim to support freedom but have no problems getting into bed with the fascists from Hamas.

Not to start a flamewar, but as always the coin has two sides.

I didn't imply anything. I found it funny to highlight the difference in terms that Haaretz used vs AP's. It goes to show even the slightest difference in wording can alter someone's view of a story.

One could assume the Israeli victims to be the first victims of the "Arab Spring". With the power of Mubarak gone, who massively supressed terrorism by pro-Palestinian and jihadi groups on the Sinai, and with the Muslim Brotherhood set to probably become the biggest political winner of the upcoming elections, it seems that the time of peace at the Israeli-Egyptian border is over, and Egyptian engagement in securing the borders will fade.

A first reaction from European nutheads I already have heared: when the Egyptian border becomes open for terrrorists to strike, then Israel has even less an argument to isolate Gaza anymore and should end the blockade, some left loonies say.

If you get shot into the head through your left cheek, then do not try to do something about that. Also turn the right cheek instead.

Nope, the genarals will be running the show just as they have been running the show for many decades.

Actually it makes perfect sense, the reasoning behind the blockade was very weak in the first place and has progressively fallen apart, nowadays there isn't a single one of the reasons remaining which were given for the blockade.

Really.
And what has that got to do with the price of cheese?

Come on Privateer, run through the reasoning of the blockade and see if any of the reasons really still stand.
If it doesn't do its job and the reasons no longer stand then what exactly are you trying to justify?

News Flash! in relation to the egyptian border Israel cannot even make a dent in the flow of illegal immigrants into Israel so what sort of "close it down hard" can it achieve against some crazy murdering bastards along such a lengthy frontier?
