you are in a grey area. There is stil comming a stream of surface mods, but it is in general the ships.
I have double the problem since i realy like playing japanese, and there is only a werry few playable ships that can be used. most supermods are geared towards subs, but it also have a diffrence what side you play on. for the atlantic OM is pretty good, since most of it are enhanced to give a German experience. In the pacific most of it a geared towards the allied side, only peabodys japanese campaign (that i hope will be completet one day) realy will give you an option.... Personaly i feel BB`s are overkill and much prefere cruisers, Cleveland is an awsome ship for the allied side, if someone made the brittish Kent playable it would be awsome to. But i will keep work on my own small mod that hopefully will bring the Takao class heavy cruisers to life, specific the maya pre 43 and after 43... But everything takes along time, but with help to solve a few bugs i know i soon will roam the pacific Ltbear |
Playable battleships
I'm not sure what you are asking here. If you are looking for playable battleships, Karle94 is your man. He has recently released several playable battleships for career and usable to make scenarios. His latest releases include the U.S. battleships South Dakota and Montana classes, the British Vanguard and French Richelieu classes. He also has an excellent U.S. battlecruiser Lexington and H-39 and H-40 for the German K.M. As to cruisers there is playable Baltimore and Cleveland class available at the subsim downloads section. Karle94 also has a new Gunfire sound mod available. All of these can be found in various threads on this forum. I hope this helps.
