OLC periscope won't zoom
 

Hey guys- the attack periscope won't zoom for some reason :S OLC stil uses the tab key to zoom right?

Malfunctions and sabotage checked in commander? That's a common malfunction, if it is.

Works as designed. OLC limited the zoom to a single level because too high zoom levels didn't look right to him. Iirc starting with his Environment mod. You should use the attack scope to do your targeting when already reasonable close. Use the observation scope to see better detail. Which make sense as the real observation scope was much larger and allowed more light to pass through, with better viewing quality as a result.

on an unrelated note... I've had two CTD's on two seperate careers trying to load the game :S Any common causes for these aside from underwater/in a port/ close to a ship?

an option is adding the ACM Reloaded mod... it's based on OLC's mod, but changes around a couple of options including re-enabling the Peri zoom.

Have you added any new mods lately? If so, try rolling them back and see if you have the same issue.
