Very good work!
This guy positions his light sources in a way to increase the 3D effect; he aligns them with the shadows they supposedly throw.

I wonder how the stuff would look as a tattoo, under changing light conditions.

Along the same vein, the 2011 Grand Rapids Art Prize winner.

The artist drew this picture using nothing but #2 pencils. It was amazing.
