Game freezes if a german vessel is attacked?
Hi everyone!
If I start a new campaign and send a torpedo to a german vessel in the harbour, the game will freeze to me as soon as the vessel is destroyed. I know that this is not something you are intended to do, but I just wanted to check explosion effects after changing things in my NVIDIA driver, so I wanted to just quickly sink a ship... It will not happen, if all mods are disabled. My mods are: Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157 [C:\Spiele\Silent Hunter 5\MODS] 001_00_RemoveLogoIntroTheDarkWraith 001_02_SD_MapLocationNameFix_v1_2 002_00_Real Environment MOD Reworked 002_02_EnhancedFunnelSmoke1.2_SH5 002_03_ShadowImprovement LR 002_04_Detailed Caustics v1.0 002_04_OldStyleExplosions V1.1 002_05_ConusGraphicMod v1.1 002_07_NoDamnBubblesNoDamnHalo 002_20_AilRain 1.0 002_21_AilClouds 3.0 002_99_CustomEmblem - Wolf 003_00_MightyFineCrewMod v1.2.1 - Alt w beards 003_03_LiteCampaign v1.21 003_05_CriticalhitsTorpedos v1.1 004_00_CapthelmsAudioMod 004_03_Stormys DBSM SH5 v1.3 Basemod 004_04_Stormys DBSM SH5 v1.3 optional -6db damped Sonarguy 004_05_Stormys DBSM SH5 v1.3 optional NavMap babelling 004_06_Stormys DBSM SH5 v1.3 optional remaining orig sounds converted to 22Khz 004_07_Stormys DBSM SH5 v1.3 HOTFIX 3 004_08_DBSM Music 1_0_5 004_10_MightyFineLessAnnoyingFootsteps v1.0 004_12_GrossdeutscherRundfunk 005_10_BRF 1.3 full 006_00_NewUIs_TDC_6_5_1_ByTheDarkWraith 006_01_NewUIs_TDC_6_5_1_Das_Boot_Crew_Mod_by_Illyu strator 006_03_NewUIs_TDC_6_5_1_Scopes - Patch for 5x4 006_05_NewUIs_TDC_6_5_1_ERM_Reaper7_NightVision 006_06_NewUIs_TDC_6_5_1_ERM_Reaper7_NightVision_Bl ack_Skin 006_07_NewUIs_TDC_6_5_1_New_radio_messages_German 006_20_IRAI_0_0_30_ByTheDarkWraith 006_21_IRAI_0_0_30_No_Aircraft_Spotting_At_Depth 006_24_AirTorpedoes 006_50_Sub_Exhaust_1_0_5_byTheDarkWraith 006_51_SubFlags_0_0_5_byTheDarkWraith 007_04_EQuaTool 01.01 by AvM - double set - Large plus Flat Style 007_10_Trevally Harbour & Kiel Canal Pilot v2.4 100_00_Open_Horizons Thanks for every comment! Actually it happens to me too. I actually shot a german Freighter by Accident and the game was freezing (It was not in the Harbor but in the open Sea and I were using the deck Gun. I thought it was a british vessel:doh: )

I had my install order checked by different people (Stoinanm was one of them) and I thought (or "was told") it was ok.
I tested this behaviour with newUIs 6.5.1 and 6.6.0... For now, I'll try not to attack german vessels, but still I am a bit "uneasy" if I know of such a problem... I am sure you know what I mean :) |

Even without mods, if you sink a german or neutral ship and afterwards select the captain's log (H) the game freeze:down: |
Do I get this right:
The games freezes when a german or neutral ship is sunk and the captains log is opened... and with the mods it does it immediatly, because the mods do trigger the captains log when a ship is destroyed? |
