I wanna know...
Why my toaster has a setting that goes to 6 when the 3 setting serves up a slice of charcoal?

Seriously, though, I don't even know how high the settings go on my toaster, but 1 toasts a slice of bread about as much as it needs to be toasted IMO and 2 will usually suffice for anything frozen. What's odd is that there's someone at work who regularly uses the toaster in our employee lounge in the morning to make regular old toast, as do I. Usually I go second and if I don't turn the dial at least halfway back towards 0 from where the other person sets it, what comes out is burnt to a crisp. It's hard to imagine anyone actually turning it up twice as far on purpose and then eating what comes out. :hmmm: |
You guys don't know anything do you? :O:
Settings 3-6 are for the UNtoasting procedure. |

Bagels dude. Bagels.

Bagels? We don't eat no stinkin' Bagels!:O:
With apologies to the screenwriters of "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" & "Blazing Saddles". Gotta get some of that toaster bacon though... |
Mine goes to 12.
It will light bread on fire. Literally. |

You lift the toaster, tilt it so the grease pours down your throat and swallow.:03:

Even charcoal has different nuances of black...
