For the sake of realism: Fewer contacts mod please???

Hey sailors!!!

It's my 8th stock patrol and I got this very well career to traverse a porpoise for a Gato, then a Balao. So, I want to roll the dice, have, say, fewer ships to spot and engage the coming patrol. I'm playing 100% difficulty, but in assigned area, I need to have very least contact reports, so I would mimic reality and pay attention to the target more often, even pursuing it if I fail.

Bottom line, I need a mod which reduces the ships to be sunk and most importantly ,be found. Playing stock 1.3

The mod you need is: RSRD (Run Silent, Run Deep). This mod re-writes the traffic to historical levels, and locations, as well as times. A task force will be in a specific area and time as it was in reality. Not sure if the mod is for stock though:hmmm: May I suggest getting the SH4 Gold Edition, which includes the U Boat missions, and brings the game up to the present 1.5 version:yep: Most, if not all the mods now are aimed to 1.5.

Ditto. You need to be playing v1.5 plus RSRD. It isn't going to like v1.3.

And it's also compatible with TMO, right?

Yep.

There's a version for stock, a version for TMO and a version for RFB.

Just make sure you use the right one :03:

There's a version of RSRD for stock 1.4. I don't know that it would work with 1.3, but you could try, but I fear the many bugs of 1.3 would cause it problems.
