Adding new missions/campaigns

Hello.
When I add new campaigns, missions etc etc, I always have to override earlier waw.files for sounds from other campaigns/missions, is this correct way to do it. Or is there better way, where I could actually have original waw.files in my different campaigns/missions?
Thanks!

PS. I want to have my all different campaigns/missions to be played anytime I want, so different folders for each campaign/mission , from where I make them active, one by one, aint gonna work for me.

Chances are you're being asked to overwrite because you already have the same .wav. Overwriting doesn't really make a difference.

This should almost never happen, but if there are different wavs with the same name, then you would want to keep a copy of each around in another location and then copy the correct .wav to the Scenarios folder when you want to play that mission. Or, you could give one of the files a new filename and then edit the corresponding mission to use the renamed .wav.

Thanks for quick answer!
This I was afraid of, so no other way to go around this?
For a guy like me, who wants everything ready, this is going to be a show stopper. :DL
But well, Its only couple of waw.files.

PS. I checked those files, and it seems they are always the same ones to have the need to be overrided; LookAtGuyBurn, GotHim, Elf, Copy_Broadcast. :hmmm:

But are any of those actually different? Those first two I think are Bill Nichols' that other people might be using. The other two have been in SC/DW for years, and even if there are more than one of them with the same name, would they really be any different?

I don't really see what the problem is here.

Yea that was my thoughts too, They are same waw.files, so it doesnt matter if they get overwrited. Now Im sure of it, thanks!
