You know, after the horrible Shrek 3 I had pretty much given up on everything related to the franchise. (Which was kind of a bad move on my part because Shrek forever after wasn't that bad IMO.)

But when we start throwing spin-offs into the mix....well this is either going to be very good or very bad. I was all for leaving these movies on a safely put high note with ending it on shrek 4, but Hollywood likes their cash so here comes Puss In boots. :shifty:

Don't get me wrong, if anyone can pull this off it's Dreamworks, and I'm a big fan of the character. It's just in today's society with crappy cliche movies being put out on an assembly line, I hope this is one of the few that manages to be original.

P.S. DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE IN 3D THESE DAYS?!?!:damn:

3D is a rather new tool for film makers. They'll mess around with it for a while, and then figure out the best ways to use it. Until then, it'll be used to draw the crowds in, because IT'S IN 3D!

Well, it is aimed at the younger crowd, ie the kidlets.
