An Update On My Quest to Lose Weight

Well, here's an update.

I haven't lost any noticeable amount of fat, but my abs are tighter so I appear thinner, and can now fit into my 32 slims! Woo!

Testing shows that I max out on leg press at 1/3 of a ton

My upper body is in bad shape, tho.

I'm doing total body movement workouts, because apparently cardio won't do it alone. I'm working all my muscle groups, major and minor.

I rode 8.5 vigorous miles on the bike machine today so thats pretty good for me.

I estimate I've only taken in 1000 calories today - so I can still eat some (woo!) but according to an expert I only need 1800, so I'm just eating slightly less so I don't have to be so precise on the counting.

According to research, I burn between 2000 and 2100 calories per day just living. I estimate that I've burned 500 calories today, so for today my body is burning mainly fat as it isn't taking in as many calories as it has burned.

But I'm light headed now (just got back from the gym) so I'm going to go eat a salad, some baked fish, and take a nap.

I didn't manage to do 10 miles on the bike today, only got to 8 before I noticed my left leg starting to give.

However, I did a few hundred extra reps on upper and lower body.

I'm not expert of the issue but you better get your self a professional coach to build you training plan.
If you overdo your training it can be more harm than good to your health and fitness.
