I was thinking about reinstalling:)

I really wish the Silent Hunter series would go back to their roots and become more like sims i.e. Dangerous Waters/Aces of the Deep than arcade games... eg Silent Hunter V.

Modded SHIII and SHIV come a long way but still far from the intricacies of submarine warfare.

Depending on how long it's been, downloading the 1.04 patch and getting back up speed would be a good idea.

To be honest, what I did yesterday was to install the game and re-boot. Download and install the 1.04 patch and re-boot.
Download and install JGSME.
Download and attempt to install LWAMI 3.11. Stop, go back and re-read the
installation instructions a few times, and then realize that JGSME is included in the 3.11 package, and then successfully install LWAMI 3.11.

Your results may vary, but enjoy.

I just started playing the game for the first time this week. :-) It's too bad there aren't more people that still play multiplayer. The multiplayer matchup forum seems pretty dead. :-/

I play it all the time. It's one of those games that never leaves my hard drive.

It never leaves my hard drive. Though finding people to play online with and more with the RA/DWX mod is difficult.

I still play this alot but notice there are never anyone to play multi with. so im gonna mark some hours and maybe someone will show up. if enuff of us could arrange a good time for everyone then we could meet a cetain day and time to play multi. for now i will check at 7pm est everyday or second day at least. i will wait a bit.
on gamespy it says to check on fridays a 3est i believe but i never have been on at that time.

unless someone has a good day or time that would be good since i am open to most times.

I think a lot of people don't use GameSpy (including me). You should let us know where you've marked these hours so we can find them. :-)
