starter help for high resolutions

Hi,

i finally bought me an new PC with Windows 7 64Bit and an Widescreen Monitor.
Now i want to reinstall SH3 + GWX.
Can someone point me to the things i need to install for widescreen support including GUI things?
Also there was some dll or mod which enables the usage of mor than 4GB RAM as far as i remember. Never need it because of my old XP System but now with W7 64Bit and much more RAM i want to try it out ;)

There is a 4 gig patch, what is your RAM now?

Can u point me to the 4GB Patch?
Maybe im too dumb to find it...
at least i cant locate it in the DL Section.

Maybe, i will try it.
I just heard about many widescreen fixes, GUIs and stuff so i was thinking i need it to play the game with an widescreen monitor.

I never got this widescreen thing. I have a 22'' widescreen monitor and without a patch or anything, SH3 works fine. No black parts on either side of the screen and no dials or scopes that look deformed..

Ok so one solution could be to try it out before i start to ask weird questions even when the SUBSIM users are very nice and try to help you all the time ;)

Right,I never use Res fix,nor :yep:

Yup, you could try it. But I would recommend the High-res fix. Doesn't have anything to do with wide-screen, but it does let you play sh3 in higher resolutions. And it makes the game look a lot better.
