Getting database error often while trying to load Subsim

Any problem?

But I think it's only on my end.

Obviously some highly corrupt people in Singapore aren't too happy with my sig on this forum. Been having problem loading subsim quite often nowadays.

Not to dwell on the fact that my sarcasm radar went off the scale when reading the first post and I hope it was right...

I'm having the same problem.

Edit: Yay, I've always wanted that avatar.

That does it, I will never post anything again. I will only edit my old posts and keep at the magic number forever.

Edit: Balls...

Between 10:24 and 10:28 this fault was occurring spasmodically.

Edit: Viewing pages are taking long periods (10:34, 10:41)
10:45 - 10:57 No problems.

Jimbuna 06-06-11 02:12 PM

Probably of little if any use but I've yet to experience the problem...will report details if encountered :hmmm:

FYI happening occasionally to me here in Thailand lately. Will post report next time it happens.

Hottentot 06-07-11 02:02 AM

This hasn't been going on for too long, I'd estimate just a week or two. It's very occasional and infrequent. Some times it affects just specific forums, so I can for example access Silent Hunter 3 forum, but not the General Topics.

Last time it happened yesterday when I was posting in the D-day thread for the first time. The post went trough, though, so from that I can deduce that it started at 04:03 pm (GMT +3) and lasted for approximately ten minutes. During that time I couldn't access Subsim forums at all.

kranz 06-07-11 06:35 AM

I get this quite often when I want to check someone's profile.

Herr-Berbunch 06-07-11 06:47 AM

This happened to me last week, I'd also been having t'interweb issues generally but even when I could see other sites I had the mysql and the db return.

Hang on, I posted on Steam about this so can find out the time (for me at least!)...

3 June 2011, 2233 BST, so that's 2133 GMT/Zulu/UTC, and after a few rounds of Bad Company 2 I'd posted it was up at 0011 BST, 2311 GMT/Etc./Etc.

Please don't disappear again, you've suckered me in to your subsim bosom and I like it here  ;)
