Also new here

Hi all, I'm new here (obviously) and I just want to say "hi". I've been a fan of submarines (books, games, films) for some time. Though I've kept quiet about it (like a sub, I guess) until now.

I'm looking forward to meeting some like-minded people and sharing some sub-lovin'.

I'm hoping to keep it as fun and painless as possible. As a "Get to know you exercise" I wonder what book/movie/poster/game got you interested in subsims?

For me I think it was a copy of either "Final Harbour", a fictional novel about an American WWII submarine, or the book "The Hunt For Red October". One of those kicked off my habit and I'm been stuck on subs since.

I've liked quite a few of the better sub movies over the years, but without question it was finally watching Das Boot that got me into subsimming and landed me here. :yep:
