CCIP 05-21-11 12:33 AM

Quick shot at it got me 27/33

Remember that I'm not American, and most of the ones I got wrong had to do with wordings of historical documents :)

Torplexed 05-21-11 12:44 AM

28/33. I botched the Socrates, Plato, Aristotle question for one. :dead:

Stealhead 05-21-11 12:45 AM

missed the same amount though not so bad considering how late it is.
did you see the link that shows how elected officials did per answer? pretty sad. You'll have to take it again to see that table
it seems it will be below your score.

never mind wont show your score I got 27/33 that Socrates one threw me as well and I missed the one about Roosevelt
and the Supreme Court and the one about the flood gates was sort of tricky I missed that one. I was gong to post my score but it wont show it in a link.

Oh come on now CCIP at least two or three of those questions would be easy for you the one about sputnik, the Cuban missile Crisis and WWII there are a few giveaways on there most any person who is a subsim regular would know seeing we are all history buffs around here or most of us are.
though according to the chart many elected officials missed those:har:

30/33 i chose the ellectorial college one as the ppl who make up congress by accident.
And i failed on

What was the source of the following phrase: ---8220;Government of the people, by the people, for the people---8221;?
Your Answer: U.S. Constitution
Correct Answer: Gettysburg Address

Which of the following statements is true about abortion?
Your Answer: it was legal in most states in the 1960s Correct Answer: the Supreme Court struck down most legal restrictions on it in Roe v. Wade

So not too bad i reckon. Needless to say im full of trivial information

Sledgehammer427 05-21-11 01:07 AM

19/33
:shifty:

2% better than college educators. that makes me feel better.

magic452 05-21-11 02:18 AM

29/33 I have no idea how I missed the "Government of the people"
The one about taxes equaling expenses I miss read deficit not debt in the answer. Plato got me on another. That one is not really a civics question.

Magic

Strange that this civics test site is down on (cue ominous music) 21 May 2011

:hmmm::stare::o:dead:

Platapus 05-21-11 10:12 PM

It finally worked.

I got 100% I did not think I would get the Plato question (I agree what does that have to do with civics. I guessed correctly to be honest.

I also thought the last question was worded awkwardly.
