A quick question

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if it's possible to go straight from the attack periscope view to the inside of the conning tower view? BTW I'm using Makman's widescreen v3.4 GUI. I really like the Turm to UZO toggle feature wonder if the same could be done with the attack periscope to ct interior view without having to go back to the CR and then back into the CT.

Cheers and thanks,

Aces

Hi my Friend !

IIRC that works with this MOD: http://174.123.69.202/~subsimc/radio...d.php?t=159772

With this MOD enable I can go with the freecam to CT, click on Attack-Periscope in CT and then I see through Periscope. When I click "Return" or Numpad 0 (donīt remember correct) Key I return to previous cam in CT !

This must be entries in Commands_en.cfg with name "go_back_previous cam" or similar....I donīt remember correctly !

I quote from the above MOD:

"used Ctrl + F2 to enter in free cam end use whatever, example if you enter periscope view or eny map end now you can return to the previous cam
pressing key numpad "0" and you will end before the periscope or the map that you had previously-selected"

QuoteEnd.

Please download you the MOD and look into the Commands_en.cfg that comes with the MOD to find the right entries !

I hope that helps and I understand you correct....?! :hmmm:

Best regards,

Thanks mate I have this mod installed but it doesn't go back so I'll have another look. Interestingly I noticed that the periscope should go to the position but this agin never happened fo me in fact I've just made it do so unless Luca's referring to the obs. scope in FM s interior which does work thia way unlike the attack scope for which there's nothing in this mod's ct.sim file to do this for the attack scope. Anyway I have this working very well so i'm very happy with that I'll have to check out the go back to previous camera setting, it does go to the scope view if I click on the attack scope itself but not back again.

I never tried the numpad "0" key, will try this evening.

Thanks and regards

Aces

Yes, thatīs exactly the entries I mean !

With these entries, if I understand Aces question right, can we do exactly this what Aces asked about (in my opinion) ! ;)
