Help with menu ini (?)

Hi all,

I'd like to reposition the text that appears "typewritten" on the document on the right of the career patrol loading screen:

I'm using Urfisch's Mod Strike Beta mod, which changes that screen image to this one:

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3206/...08a45d22_b.jpg

As you can see, the "document" is shifted a bit to the left and it's enough that the text that ends up there looks really off center to me, so I'd like to shift it left as well.

If this is possible, I assume it's an edit to something in menu_1024_768.ini, but I'm looking at the file and have no idea which section would need to be edited.

Thanks for any help!

Maybe I'm wrong, but there are no entries in menu_1024_768.ini for loading screens. I guess the text coordinates are defined somewhere in the sh3.exe.

@frau kaleun
At first about fonts.
At the beginning of the file you can see [Fonts] section ...
Then, you can see [Main groups and pages] section.
In this section you can find needed page and its code.
Using this code to find the content of the page.
...
only as example: Page mission order - code 36 (in Hex).

But still there is no "needed page". :DL
I guess text coordinates from Mission Order page are not used on loading screen.

I'm not arguing with you, but I doubt that the coordinates from this page are used for the loading screen. I looked at all the pages and did not find any related to the loading screen, only pages with control elements, etc. (menus, buttons, lists...). Maybe I missed something, have not run SH3 for a long time.

If it's hardcoded, cut and paste the image!
:)

If you did not find "needed page" in menu_1024_768.ini and speech about default background pictures, which are placed in ..\Menu\Loading\ folder, you can use new background pictures (with new names).
To do this in files (Media.cfg) you can enter the names of new pictures and maybe use the new settings for elements of boot screen... and accordingly put new pictures in folder ...\Menu\Loading\...
i think.
:woot:

Thanks, I just decided it would be easier to edit the existing image. I hated not to use Urfisch's loading screen, I really like the ones that come with that mod... long story short I was able to get it to work. :yeah:
