Climbing M. Everest, for me the only thing worth dying for, that view |
It never seems to lose its appeal...
Thanks for the links! :DL |
Lot's of bodies still in almost perfect frozen shape on that mountain. They once talked of getting them for families, but I assume still there, just too riskly. I think you got have lil nut in you to do that.

Virtual mountain climbing ? :o Virtual falling off it ? :dead: :haha: What will they think of next. :-? |
Mount Everest’s a pretty tricky climb you know. Most of its up until you reach the very, very top and then it tends to slip away rather sharply…

A few days ago an 82 year climber died in an attempt to reach the summit of Everest. He was hoping to break the record set by a climber by the name of Min Bahadur Sherchan, who scaled Everest at the age of 76 back in 2008.
http://www.gadling.com/2011/05/10/82...es-on-everest/ He had little previous climbing experience too. Seems to me that's pushing it. :nope: |
