The British Destroyer was fired upon by rockets and heavy machine gun fire while patrolling off the cost of Libya. HMS Liverpool returned fire with its 4.5 in gun and destroyed their attacks while suffering no damage.

This comes in the wake of an attempt by Libyan forces to mine the harbor of Misrata. And earlier this week FNS Courbet was attacked in a similar engagement.
