what mods to have?

It has been a long time since i play Silent Hunter 5 But now i have installed it again and would like to know which mods you guys have installed!
Is there any work on a megamod?
And i saw a post some time ago about the guy who did mega mod for Silent hunter 3 or 4 (Gray wolf) that he is or have done somthing for silent hunter 5 but cant find the post or hes downloads
And i do like this game despite that "Permanent Internet Connection required" I supose it is still that way?

Sofie,

You asked sincerely, so I will answer sincerely:

Make sure that you get the Generic Mod Enabler, or sometimes called or referred to as "JSGME".
With this program, you will be able to easily add and subtract the mods you wish to use or remove the ones you dont care for.

Get the following, and you will be thrilled:

TDW's Magnum Opus mod (lots of mods in it. too many to mention) but it will get you mostly up to date.

TDW's IRAI mod

TDW's Hydrophone fix

These above three mods do a lot in changing how the sim plays. It plays quite well now! :-)

As for graphics, that's really a subjective and personal preference to tell you what you should have, but I am using Stoianm's Environment mod. It has a bunch of mods within it that will make your SH5 come alive and give you goosebumps.

That should get you started.
Enjoy,
Rich

Here's my mod list so far and only started modding it this morning. I got all of the below mods from http://www.strategyinformer.com/all/mods.html and not subsim. Change drop down box to simulator to quickly find them, it won't let me directly link to that sub genre. I am now sorting through mods here at subsim to see which to dload and try.

Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157
[D:\Steam\Steamapps\common\silent hunter 5\MODS]

Accurate German Flags
