Mothers Day

If your mother is living, spend time with her and let her know how special she is. I buried mine just a few days ago. It still doesn't feel real. I lost my father years ago, that was tough, but I was a momma's boy. Many have told me the pain never really heals, you just accept it and go on. That's probably gonna be true.

Spend time with your Mom......

To all the mothers, here and gone, we thank you...:salute:

True. I´ve lost my mom in April 2010 and it hurts every day. It gets easier, but it won´t go away.

I rang my Mom today (Mother's Day was today here.
She lives 2000 kms away.
Without our Mothers, none of us would be here.
They have the toughest jobs in the world. Hands down!
I love you, Mom.

Some wonderful sentiments expressed here. :sunny:
I'll be taking my mother to breakfast this morning.

Although I sometimes wonder if IHOP counts as breakfast.

I told my mom today; "in my opinion, every day is mother's day."

My mom and I are very close, she and i have always been very calm, analytical, reserved people while my father and my sister have always been very abrasive, high strung people with short fuses.

when we hang out together, it is very therapeutic for the both of us:up:

We talk on the phone almost every day and hang out every opportunity we get.

losing her will be the worst day of my life... you never really have with anyone else what you have with mom.

Sorry to hear about your mother Armistead.

Though without some shortcomings especially on the matter of timidity and principle I still love my mother.

They get old fast huh.

Maybe I'll buy her something.

Went for a big family meal on mothers day, but my 3yr old niece stole was the centre of attention.
