Missing modes.
 

It`s has been a while since my last visit to this forum.
I see there are alot of mod threads missing from the SHIII workshop part of the fourm and yet they can`t be found in the download section of the forum either.
So I am interested in what happened to them.
Was it the big cleaning or something like that...?:hmmm:

No big cleaning or anything like that, just a lot of modding going on which pushes older mods farther back in the pages of the forum.

uh tough question...it has been over a year maby 1,5 from my last visit.
my hdd crashed and i lost a bunch of my mod collected from this forum.
the one name i can remeber for sure was an CLAssamblage graphic mod...

Now that i am back first few days just spend in alot of reading the threads form workshop and looking what is new.
But i see loot of members talking about using some mods but i can`t find them on the forum.
Not even a threads in wich i posted something, i could only aces them trough my info panel (Threads Started By: bojan811) example http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=154174
you will not find this and many more in this part of the forum where i left them.

Not everyone has access for uploading of files to Subsim, many modders put their stuff on their own pages at Filefront or other file-sharing sites.

There is a great archive of mods here, though - pretty much everything I've ever looked for has been there:

You will probably need to log in, if so:

username: Maik
password: Woelfe

The only small downside is that mods are arranged by name or nickname of the modder, but if you don't know who did a specific one you can always ask. If it's a mod currently in use someone will surely know, if not then they can probably point you to something else that superceded it.

But as i said am not talking about the missing mods as not being uploaded by members but i was referring to the missing thread about some mods like the one i just put in my post above.

This thread is missing from the forum but it was there when i posted in it in the 2009 august.

I'm not sure what you mean by missing - when I click on that link, I get the whole thread starting with post #1 and going on for a couple of pages. No one's posted to it since 9/2009, but it's not gone. It's just buried 2+ years back due to inactivity.

I just posted a "bump" to it, now it's back on the first page of the forum.

I'm not sure if there's a something in User CP that sets a limit on the age of threads you can see or that come up in search results if you look for them, but it's worth a look if you're looking for old threads and not finding them.

I said mising because i could not see them in the forum i see only five pages in workshop sh III part of the forum.
And as you said this is an old thread, and i could only find it though all my post option.
Thanks for this it did not acured to me to try and post something just to see how it will react.

I will try to look at my profil options maby that is where the problem is.

btw in ShIII workshop how many pages do you see?
I see only 5 of them.
