[RE]Wave cap spray modding tips?
Hey guys!
Ok, I recently downloaded and installed stoianm's Dynamic Environment mod and literally got blasted away by it's quality. The feeling of being there and atmospheric immersion is brilliant! A special highlight are the high waves, which give a much better feeling of epicness. In combination with sobers deck spray mod ploughing through stormy seas gives some real shivers. I was wondering, though, if there is a way to combine these two mods in a way that the wave caps actually develop some spray in high wind conditions as well? I have zero experience in modding SH5, so if anybody could give a hint where to start I'd be very willing to listen. Would it even be possible to begin with? I just can imagine that adding this here and there in subtle ways could increase that feeling of a storm whipping up the sea around you even more. |
the sober mod is already in the dynamic env mod... the spray in the sober mod come from the deck .... if sober manage to make the same spray from the conning tower then you will have that feeling that you spoke here... so let's ask sober if he cann add the same effect to the conning tower

thanks for your reply! However, when I am talking about spray, I do not mean the waves hitting the U-Boat, but the tips of a lot of wakes that get ripped apart by clashes of water and the wind, causing spray developing on the wave tops themselves in the sea even without hitting something like a ship or U-Boat.
