Realism and Damage Zones
Two questions.
1. Even though my realism settings on the start screen say 77%, my Gameplaysettings.cfg file already added up to 100%. Playing GWX+S3comm. Am I getting 100% renown after a patrol, or am I missing something. If not, what exactly needs to be changed to get to 100%. 2. Probably an obvious question to the modders out there, but in the SH3\data\zones.cfg file, does a Multiplier=5.000000 equate to 5X damage taken to that zone than if it had a multiplier of 1.000000. I've noticed that the higher multipliers are applied to things like the keel, fuel/ammo bunkers, engine rooms, etc. so it seems obvious. Just trying to wrap my mind around the damage model. I'm suprised your not getting a CTD because yoyr realism settings CFG should add up to 100.

Based on past threads, I thought so too. I'm afraid to touch them now.:haha:
Checked my math 3 times. Once in my head, once on paper, third time on a calculator. Same totals. /shrug Bah... found it. Operator error all 3 times. Kept overlooking the same 3 pointer. Will edit my above post with the proper numbers. |
