WTF was WRONG with the mission designers on this one? You start out with a half dozen planes in the sky, and before you can even click through to all of them to see what they are, you have missiles flying at all of them. There's seriously no way to save your planes on this one. It's completely ridiculous!

Isn't there a way through this mission that doesn't involve scratching all the initial planes you have in the air?

Yes there is a way out of this and this may sound stupid but try reloading the mission since all the missions are randomize, if your lucky maybe one or two may go down but you have plainty of time to save them, another way is pause and order your plains to climb as fast as they can, this mission is hard, but is also one of the best, lots of action.
