If you had to pick one state to live in here in the US, which one and for what reasons?

Which states will be the power players in the future?

Grrr, you had to mention in the US, otherwise it would be in a state of undress/arousal or just plain old drunken.

Somebody, somewhere has recently put what the best state to live in is, I can't find the thread but think it was North Dakota...

As for provinces in Amerika... eh I dunno some place where I can build an impenetrable underground fortress like in Dwarf Fortress, complete with Tantrum Spirals, Elf Genocide and Magma Moats.

I'll stick with the UK and before you ask "What state is that"? Let me tell you it's in a right state but home is home every time.
