FC: My planes randomly die

It's really strange. I'm in the Straits of Taiwan campaign mission, and I have some S-3 Vikings on ASW patrols. Right out of the blue, two of them die within about a minute of each other. I didn't see any missiles flying at them, and there weren't any enemy vessels nearby.

I even quit the mission and watched the replay -- they definitely didn't get shot down by enemies that I missed. They just randomly crashed.

Has anyone else seen this type of thing happen? I think I've seen it with Tomcats and Hornets, too, but never as clear-cut as this.

If you are using the SCS version of the game, i hear that the geme had some problems, remember this version if im not mistaken was made by some people and the twick some things in the game, maybe thats the reason for it, i never encounter that in my janes original version of the game, try installing the 1.00 upgrade mission pack and play the mission again, just remember to back up your original missions first, also try thr 1.38 patch and see what happens.
can help you much with this version of the since i dont have it, and just resently learn about it.
GOOD LUCK AND LET ME KNOW HOW IT GOES.

Hey elephantium.

Sometimes the aircraft like to go for a swim you just need to keep a eye on them, its the Doc files that causes this problem.

They can also run out of fuel or planes have crash into each other. :salute:
