Auxiliary Cruiser negative renown?
I'm running GWX 3 with sh3 commander 3.2
In the gwx renown list it says that if you sink an auxiliary cruiser you'll get -420 renown. But they are listed under British warships in the recognition manual. So why the negative renown? :06: I looked in the data/sea folder to edit this value. Although it says BrAuxCruiser=Auxiliary Cruiser in the Englishnames.cfg there's no folder in that name :o Is this value editable? Any help appreciated!:salute: |
What year? What month? If you start at the beginning in GWX it's August 1939. The war doesn't start until September 1.

It really isn't a problem until you actually sink one and get penalized for it when you should have been rewarded.
I wouldn't go editing anything until you know it's not working correctly. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. |

There was the Hood and an auxiliary cruiser in the harbour. Only sank the the hood, didn't touch the cruiser because of the renown.:nope: Quote:

That negative must be a mistake. At least in my installation, a British Auxiliary Cruiser is worth +420 renown. You can check your value in:
\data\Sea\NAXC\NAXC.cfg It should have the line: RenownAwarded=420 |

Thanks for pointing out the location  That seems to be an old list. Feel bad about the missed opportunity to sink 13000ts :damn:. Thanks to all who replied!:salute: |
