Strange Calmness
Okay, so, lastnight, i sunk a C2 cargo via deck gun. Its November 1st, 1940, and I'm cruising Northwest ward on AM-76. And the thing that scares me the most, strangly, is the fact that the ocean is super calm. Im not afraid of planes or destoryers right now, (IXD2) as im heavily armed (and playing stock) and well defended.
Has anyone ever been creeped out by a pure flat sea? *Edit* Oh my god, what is my picture???? |

Seems like it, as now the sea state is just below storm, three days later, with no contact over like, 500 km of sea coverd.
|
Yes, makes me feel like a target....
but i do imagine the crew fishing..... |
I imagin that fishing would be a good pastime, perhaps for Balz's crew?

One question : A IXD2 in November 1940? |

I am not surprised by the ocean calmness as it may happen. The very astonishing fact is that you have got THAT ADVANCED TYPE OF U-BOAT SO EARLY. ('40???). :nope: :hmmm: It was never possible even in reality.

I liked the "I am not afraid of destroyers or planes ... (playing stock)."
Pretty much sums it up. |
I got bored, so i started messing around with the folders, figured out how to give myself the IXD2....I could be useing the XXI...but that thing is....boring. No chalange hiding at 210 at 4 knots, against the asw ships in gibaltar...
One thing im still trying to figure out is how to edit the max depth. |

You'll need a hex editor or Silent 3ditor... With Silent3, open the file, scroll down to '26 ColisionableObject' click it and edit the 'CrashDepth' value in field 27. |

Editing files? That means it "ain't stock no more". Enjoy. |
By stock, i meant no super mods. But i see what you mean, so, its Silent Hunter Tabby Custom...?
|
TabbyHunter,
how exactly did you give yourself the IXD2 in 1940? Which file did you edit? Thank you. |
