Just when you think Chavez can't get crazier.

Another gem from the worlds favorite Latin American dictator:03:

I still miss those times. Life was good when we were deforesting the Cydonia region on Mars. And my cousin that strip mined under Olympus Mons, he's livin large now

Muammar Gaddafi would be welcome by Chavez. They have so many things in common

krashkart 03-22-11 05:45 PM

He's been playing too much Alpha Centauri. :p2:

Well, he got democratically elected. Too often mentally deranged or mad people are allowed to rule countries - with the crowds willingly following them, democratically elected or not. One cannot remain to be an optimist, if thinking about it.

As long as they don't show up wearing the same outfit. Oooh, girl, then it's on like Donkey Kong.

If Capitalism ended life on the Red planet, then it's a forgone conclusion what will end it on the Blue one... :O:

I will watch a reality show along the lines of this
the lives of glorious leaders - watch dictators go by their day!

SubV 03-22-11 07:29 PM

He's right, and all of you know it.

The capitalism in its current form (U.S. imperialism) condemns us to extinction. I'm no fan of communism and socialism, either.

We must invent a new economic and social system, to simply survive the years to come when all the natural resources (such as oil) will be gone.

I like you.

Well....last year Hugo claimed it was a US "earthquake weapon" that devastated Hati. Now, somehow with a handful of space probes and spindly wheeled robots we've turned Mars into a desert. For an encore maybe next year we'll make the sun go supernovae.

Methinks Hugo is going for the Hugo Award in science fiction. :O:
